THE WAVES (Projet)
TIdeally located in the Kirchberg district, in the heart of the financial sector and of the institutions, the domain MEDIA BAY continues its development with the construction of the bold building THE WAVES. The name of the project is inspired by its curved lines that design a wave in its double Corten envelope, which gives the building a unique and exceptional line.
Designed by the famous firm Valentini HVP Architects, THE WAVES is a real architectural gem consisting of 14.000 sqm of office space, with two main volumes of asymmetrical height, connected by a grand interior court that will radiate the whole office surface with natural light.
The office space will be distributed over 4 floors on one side, and over 7 floors on the other.
A total of 100 parking spots will be distributed on two underground floors.
THE WAVES will be located at less than 500 meters from the highway accesses connecting the city, the airport and the 3 bordering countries. The access to public transportation will also be very easy, thanks to the numerous bus lines connecting all the districts of the city, and a second tram line, which will pass just in front of the building in 2035.
The well-being of the future occupants will be a focal point, thanks to the creation of a grand interior court of 360 sqm., which will allow to welcome the occupants and the visitors in a green and comfortable atmosphere.
This interior space has been conceived as the heart of the project to encourage the exchange, the collaboration, and the creativity of its future occupants.
THE WAVES also aims to be a sustainable building, by reducing its carbon footprint and by having a minimal impact over its environment, both very important arguments for the developer GIO.
